Art Dispersed by Francoism. The works deposited at the University of Barcelona

Santos M. Mateos, from the University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia and researcher on the IGUEMUS project at the ICRPC, has co-curated, together with Professor Emeritus of the Complutense University of Madrid, Arturo Colorado, the exhibition Arte dispersado por el franquismo. The exhibition, which can be visited until July 18 at the Chapel Hall of the Historic Building of the University of Barcelona, presents the initial findings of the research on the artworks deposited at the University of Barcelona by Francoist authorities after the end of the Spanish Civil War.

This work is part of the research project led by the ICRPC: IGUEMUS: The impact of the Civil War on the configuration of museums in Catalonia.
