Presentation of the Doctoral Thesis "National Artistic Heritage Defense Service" and Franco's control of heritage in Catalonia during the Civil War. Militarized agents, advisors, propaganda and bureaucracy in the "Comisaría de la Zona de Levante"

On February 9, Dr. Eduard Caballé i Colom read his Doctoral Thesis, with the title "Defense Service of the National Artistic Heritage" and Franco's control of heritage in Catalonia during the Civil War. Militarized agents, advisers, propaganda and bureaucracy in the "Comisaría de la Zona de Levante" (1938-1940). The research has been directed by Dr. Joaquim Nadal Farreras (member of the research group of the IGUEMUS project). The defense of the thesis will take place in the Degree Hall of the Faculty of Letters of the University of Girona and has obtained the qualification of Excellent Cum Laude.

Rebeca Saavedra Arias, researcher at the University of Cantabria and member of the research group of the IGUEMUS project, was part of the thesis committee.

The research is part of the line in the field of research that is deployed in the IGUEMUS project, of which Eduard Caballé is part of the research team.
